Jewelry, Christmas and Valentine

Jewelry, Christmas and Valentine

I have been writing blogposts for Hobby Alternatief every week on Friday. I decided to write short updates here instead of the full translated posts. This time I have 3 blogposts for you to read. I had a lot of fun making some jewelry, Christmas and Valentine cards for these week.

In the blocks below you can link through to the separate posts for jewelry, Christmas and Valentine cards. More photo’s can be found in my corresponding galeries.

jewelry, christmas and valentineFor week 28 the assignment was to make something in 3D using clay.
Clay and me wasn’t a good combination so I changed it to 3D using Beads and wire and I made a few jewelry pieces, this pendant and a necklace to go with it.

In the original post I have more detailed information and more photo’s.

The assignment for week 29 was to work with a sketch.
For years I have been hearing the phrase Christmas in July and I always said that I wouldn’t participate in it. But be honest, this sketch is perfect to make a Christmas card with it, isn’t it? I have used 2 different embossing folders and several different dies.

In the original post I have more detailed information and more photo’s.

jewelry, christmas and valentineFor week 30 I had free choice to create what I wanted. So I made this Valentine card. Only instruction was to use one of the 4 die cutting sets I received from Sandie. I used 2 of them, both to make slider cards, but on both I used different techniques. I did have to go on youtube though for some visable instructions on how to use the dies.

In the original post I have more detailed information and more photo’s.

I have a list of the materials I used for these jewelry, Christmas and Valentine cards at my HA Blog, It is written in dutch with more details in there for when you want to know more and all the measurements for the Jewelry, Christmas and Valentine creations. You can visit each block for the weeks separately by clicking the link in the blocks above.
To translate it to english or any other language you can use “Google Translate”

Feel free to leave a comment here, on my other blog or on the posts of the other DT members. It is highly appreciated.
