Favourite materials to work with.

This month the blog carnival from Jewelry Artisans Community is about our favourite materials and why we like to use them.

This is a hard question, my favourite materials to work with change all the time.
One day I work a lot with gemstomes, the other day it can be seed beads or just a bit of wire.
One day I’m in to wire wrapping and the other into bead weaving or working with leather cords.
I do love to change my materials every now and then or mix them together to see if that works and how far I can go.
I also like to try out some new items.

Now the Why?

Though I do work with copper, brass, bronze or black coloured metals I always go back to silver colours for my wire and findings.
Just say I’m a silver person.
Gold just doesn’t look right on me.
Maybe that’s why most of my jewelry are made in silver tones.

The colours of the beads and gemstones are various because I like most colours.
Except yellows, I do have a problem with yellow, so you won’t find many yellow stones or beads in my stash, but I do have a few like citrine of calcite.
